The world has become a very competitive place to live in. What this means is that any person without quality education will not be able to fit in this aggressive scenario. For the most part, children in slums do not have the opportunity of going to school because they lack money to pay for fees let alone feed themselves. Therefore, they are the most affected majority of those who cannot jostle for bigger things in life due to lack of education. For many years, the children found in slum areas in India have been mainly ignored in terms of the quality of education they get. Fortunately, this is changing.

The many NGO in India are today more actively involved with slum education. These NGO's have been able to offer quality education for slum children. The good thing about this activity is that the children can now enjoy free education in India. Many of the people who have incorporated the India NGO that deals with slum children understand that it is not enough to feed them alone. With the right kind of educations, the children will have a way of feeding themselves and their families for a long term. The children will also get to improve the way of life they are currently living.

It is sad to note that most of the slum children are actually orphans. Therefore, they have no means of fending for themselves and attending school. This has been the scenario in India for the longest time. It has even led to the deterioration of the quality of life for many. What most Mumbai NGOs are trying to do is it to make everyone, including the slum children, understand that education is the key of improving one's life.

Education is every child’s right. This is the mantra that runs most of the educational NGO in India. For this reason, it is possible to find an educational NGO supporting a school so that the education for slum children becomes a reality. With this support, the school is able to offer education and other various necessary activities that will benefit the slum children.

The educational NGO in Mumbai do more than just offer quality education to children. There are several key activities that they also engage in. Apart from the free education for the orphans, these NGO's adopt the children as well. This way, they are able to ensure that the children get quality education and the other necessary necessities they may require. For this reason, the children NGO's have constructed innovative schools and also rented places to accommodate as many slum children as possible.

Social service in India has not been able to manage the upsurge of orphaned children from the slum. However, with the help of the Mumbai NGO's, India social service has found a way to make sure the children have a stable life and career. Most of the children NGO's offer a nurturing atmosphere that makes it possible for the children to improve the quality of their lives. Today, there is a significant change in the kind of life many of the orphaned slum children live. Furthermore, they now have a chance to make it big in the careers that they choose.
